Julie woke up with her phone ringing. She was still groggy with sleep when she answered the damn thing.
“Hello?”
“Rise and shine, sunshine! I was going to ask if you are ready, but from what I can hear, you just woke up. I'll give you thirty minutes.”
“Who is it?” She could not even think straight. Thirty minutes to what?
“You insult me. How is it that my beautiful fiancé can't recognize my awesome voice?”
“Ah, that is you. Why are you calling me at this early hour?”
“Sweety, it is not early. It is almost ten in the morning.”
