When the clock indicated that it was already eight o'clock, August called Julie and told her he was leaving his house. After twenty minutes, he called her to let her know he was already downstairs. She took her bag. Jack and Chelsea declined to participate in the event, preferring to meet up after her shift for lunch and more alone time.
"Behave." Julie said, giving Jack a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
"I always do." He answered before his bedroom door closed.
She went downstairs and August was leaning against the car in a tailcoat, super stylish. He looked like every woman's dream, which made Julie smile like a fool, after all, they were going to get married and he would be all hers.
August listened as the door to the building opened and he looked over, hoping it was Julie.
