We climbed over the stage, I looked at Asher who was lost somewhere, and smiled. This gave me another hope. I know he has a soft corner for me. He might change his decision and do something to help me.
“Asher, please, don't do this with me. I don't want to marry you. I have so many things to do in my life rather than get entangled with you. Also, we are different, so our beliefs are,” I held his hand and looked at him with tears in my eyes.
He looked at me with a soft smile that increased my hopes.
