3. Dear Sister

1061 Words
Aurora's POV My heartbeat rose to listen to the knob's unlocking sound. I immediately wiped my tears and stood happily thinking that Mrs. Carter reconsidered. She might have realized that I am an innocent person and unnecessarily getting punished. But how? And she is not a prominent person who accepts her mistakes. Whatever the reason, I need to be grateful. "Thank you, Mrs. Carter," I happily said, but my happiness didn't last long as I saw Maze instead of Mrs. Carter. And instantly realized, she is here for some kind of game. She is again going to hurt me through her words. "Hello dear, sister," Maze said with a cheeky smile and came towards me. My eyes widened seeing her in my gown, which I bought for myself. "Why did you wear this?" I asked, teary-eyed. She smirked at me and kept her hands on my shoulders, saying, "Because you tore my dress." "You also know, I didn't do it," I said, lowering my eyelashes and wiping my tears. "Does it change anything? No, dear," Maze gave me another bright smile. "No, but why are you wearing my dress? You have so many other dresses," I said in a meek tone. "Do you know I loved my dress, but then I saw yours? And I inferred you won't let me take your dress as I saw how much you were sticking to it. So, I planned all this," Maze proudly said. "You are so mean," I said, closing my eyes. Some tears slipped from my eyes over my misfortune. How much I wish to spoil her filthy face, but alas, I don't have such permission. If I do, Mrs. Carter will burn me alive. "That I am," Maze grinned and turned her heels towards the door. "s**t! I forgot to tell you that mom has permitted you to go outside," Maze said, turning towards me and giving a smirk. "Stop this," I screamed, moving back. "I know you and your mom can't be this great. Behind letting me go, there must be some kind of gambit," I knelt and covered my face. "Please, I am tired of all this. I can't tolerate it anymore. My tolerance is on the verge of an end." She came to me and held my chin and slightly clasped my jaws in her hand. "Because of your mother, my mother can't face people. They keep laughing at her incompetence. I can't get revenge on your mother as she ran away with the money, but you are here. So, pay for her sins." I closed my eyes. "Say anything about me but don't comment over my mother." I know my mother did a terrible sin by breaking someone home, but she can't be alone to get the blame. It was my father's fault too. He should have controlled his d**k before impregnating her. Further, I am tired of listening to all this. And it wasn't like Mrs. Carter didn't know. She knew everything, but she always ignored the truth so she could enjoy the luxury like she is doing now. If she wished, she could have gotten divorced. But then how could she have got the limelight? "I also don't have time to comment over a p********e that too when I am getting late," Maze shook her head. "Well, darling, don't waste your time here. I am giving you an amazing opportunity to come with me. But yes, there is an amazing condition. During the entire party, follow me as a dog follows its master," she laughed. "It would be more fun to have a college topper as my slave," she added with a grimace. "Why do you think I would come with you rather than choosing to stay here? At least here, I can get some peace," I wiped my tears and laughed slightly at her insanity. "Because your boyfriend is going to be there. Do you wish to see him sharing a bed with me and warping in the same blanket? He is so hot. And I can make it possible to get him on my bed," she licked her lips and stood giving me a seductive look. "Do you think Marcus is like Daniel? Daniel runs behind every girl whom he finds sexy, but Marcus is different. He only loves me," I said with confidence. "Do you know Daniel is like Mr. Carter? And you are like your mother. Daniel is rich, popular, so you lick his d**k as your mother does," I added. Every sentence was making her furious. I know she can slap me. Or she can even pull my hair, but at this moment, I only care about Marcus. Also, I forgot my pain. "You trust him so much, right? Nice to see. Well, dear, come with me if not for Marcus then for your that nerd and dumb friend. What is her name?" She pretended to think. "What would you do with Macey?" I immediately stood. "Nothing much. My friends and I would use her for our entertainment. You know we love to play with her smelly hair and pink blazer which she always wears even at the parties," Maze stormed from there. I don't know what is going on in her brain? Why does she want me to go with her? And what is her problem with Macey? Why does she always target her? "Are you coming or not?" Maze yelled. "I am, but what would I wear?" I ran outside and found Mrs. Carter, who was glaring at me. "See how considerate my daughter is? She does not only make me agree to let you go but also she is lending her clothes to you. Be grateful to her," Mrs. Carter threw a blue gown at my face. I held it and closed my eyes as this gown is 2 years old. Not only this, but the color also faded. Maze dumped this gown somewhere, but I guess she found it back for me. "Why are you staring at me? Get ready," Mrs. Carter stood and moved from there laughing, looking at her mobile. It is okay! I can bear this. I have to. I must do it. I can't let Maze trouble Macey because of me. I also can't let Maze snatch my Marcus. He is the only one who loves and supports me. To be continued.
