Secret Meetings A shiver went through her body as she crossed the alley of the crime. The chill of the night intensified the feeling, making her feel like a protagonist in a horror movie. Melina looked around for possible unwanted looks. Few people were circulating in the city, Tuesday night. Although she had seen this landscape countless times and knew even the smallest detail, everything looked different to her. She felt a little guilty inside because she broke the promise she made to Marsil to stop dealing with the case. No one should find out about her night visit. She could have lost her job in the office, but she still chose to do so - an act of curiosity, a spark of disobedience. It was a risk she took to find out the truth, but surely her employers would not see it that way.
