A Witch in Despair
The car stopped in an underground, private parking lot located in a seedy part of town.
"I won"t be long," Alan replied. "I"ll contact my contact to find out where Zonia is, and I"ll see about getting us another ride," he added, looking down at the stolen car they were in.
"And this witch is dangerous?" asked Meli.
"I wouldn"t say so," Trish replied. "Her father was a darx and her mother was one of the most powerful witches ever. But she herself is a coward and prefers to live in the shadows. Now and then she does certain illegalities to make easy money and that"s all. Otherwise, Zonia is harmless," she explained to her.
"I hope she"ll agree to help us," Meli commented.
