  3 Adam froze in the midst of filling the rest of the tumblers. The entire ballroom erupted in gasps of shock. A man with steel-gray hair that matched his gray dinner jacket had Victoria in a tight grip, with a huge knife to her throat. Mother— He looked over at the bouncers who had let this asshole in. They were both talking into their comms, probably calling the cops. The police would have a hostage rescue team onsite within minutes.
