Chapter Twenty-six
“Greyson, you can just drop me off? I have the gate code.
I can find my way home.”
Addie caught Greyson’s smile before she turned to look out
the window. Had she just said home, as in their home?
“I’m not dropping you off. Color me suspicious, but I
don’t trust Drake.”
Addie had to agree. However, this race was a big
opportunity for Drake. Some of the biggest race promoters were attending, and
Drake wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to schmooze with the heavy hitters of
racing. Drake wanted to be part of a race team, and this was her opportunity to
make that happen. Whatever Addie was to Drake didn’t compare to what Drake
wanted with racing.
“Okay, but I’m just going in, getting my keys, and will be
out in a flash.”
