Chapter Thirty
A hot shower had never felt so good, Greyson thought,
hanging out under the spray. Neil had sprung her within the hour. Addie, on the
other hand, was still being held without bail. Greyson had requested to see
her, but her request was denied. Only her legal counsel could see her, and Neil
had said he’d pass on Greyson’s message to Addie.
She had written a quick note telling Addie not to worry,
that she would do whatever it took to get her home as soon as possible. She
also stopped by the hospital and touched base with Dr. Madrigal, searching for
any information she could get on the attacker’s condition.
Nothing. All Millicent could tell her was that he was in
