Chapter Twenty-one Pound, pound, pound. “Honey, open the door.” He froze. His hand deep in lacy undergarments, he waited for the intruder to go away. He pondered the predicament for a moment. Should he open the door? His eyes shut as he fingered the silk. Oh, she would be so wanting. Glancing around the room, he assessed his options. Let her in and take advantage of the opportunity that presented itself. Let her keep banging on the door and wait for her to eventually leave. Keep his little trophy and retreat for another time.
