"Go out with me," he said. At last. Zach wasn’t entirely sure where it came from, but the moment the words left his mouth, he knew it felt right. Zach had been carrying a burden on his shoulders for what felt like a long, long time. Until then, he didn’t know what it was, why he had it, or what he needed to do to feel better. Now, he knew what it was. Or maybe it was better to say he acknowledged what it was. Zach wasn’t feeling bad because of guilt. He was feeling bad because of regret.
