Augustine pov.
Did I do that just now?
I watched as a single punch sent her flying. Then I lunged for her again and landed another punch that sent her far away from where I stood.
Moments later, the atmosphere cleared up. There were no more toxic in the air, and slowly my teammates regained consciousness.
“What happened here?” Bernie asked, looking light headed.
I stared at my knuckles, “I believe I just got stronger than I was before.”
Lewis pov.
I saw everything, right to when he knocked her out with his fists. Somehow, I was able to regain consciousness after Augustine drew her away from us.
I was weak and exhausted. And from the look of things, I was badly hurt, some toxins got into my blood stream, and I was already exhibiting the effects.
