"Don"t walk ahead of me from now on, detective," Owain cast a warning frown at his companion. "There are some dangerous places up here." He led Martin up the hillside. As they walked the detective glanced around, trying to take in as much detail as he could. There were small standing stones dotted across the rugged slope in no discernible pattern that he could divine. Here and there were clusters of hawthorns, some obviously newly planted, that stood on their own at regular intervals down the hillside. The stones, Martin realised, were also recent arrivals.
