The idea took root in Ellet's mind and grew rapidly. The next morning, he couldn't wait but dial Baldwin's number.
As soon as the call connected, Ellet greeted him in a warm tone. "Good morning, Uncle Baldwin, how have you been? We haven't met for a good while. Grandpa wanted us to go back for dinner."
He paused for a second and then added, "Oh, and the woman you took to the charity dinner last time, she's your girlfriend, right? Why don't you bring her along too? Grandpa would love to see her."
The family dinner was the only thing Ellet could think of that Baldwin wouldn't refuse to attend.
He figured that if he asked Baldwin for help in front of his grandfather, Baldwin wouldn't turn him down.
