Waking up

    Hermes had called Eli, and Hades. One of them had gotten ahold of Aries. It was getting close now and she was waking up from death, waking up as something so different. Aries hadn't made it yet so they waited in her living room. 

    Felina came to with a huge agonizing breath. Her heart was beating in any fashion it could. She sat up in the bathtub, somewhere in the mix of living again she had thrown the baby gargoyle across the room. There were so many other things that should have caught her attention. Yet, the smack of that baby against the wall and her awareness she had caused it was all her focus. Despite her chest burning and her heart pounding out of it, she rolled herself out of the bathtub and crawled over to it.

    "Aw, little baby. I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Come here." The poor thing startled as it was scrambled straight to her arms. With a smile she held it close and said "Let's go see what's with the world these days." She made her way to the kitchen out of habit and made coffee. A wave of shakiness crashed over her. SHe felt unsteady, with one hand she held the baby close and the other steadied herself on the counter. Then panic hit her, she was in her house and she wasn't alone. She whipped around to find Eli and some guy sleeping on her furitnaure. She had anger she fought back, it was Eli and whatever was going on he wouldn't let anyone around to be of harm. She would get an answer on who that guy was later. As she stood for a moment knowing she was in her house where things were familar she couldn't shake the vague images in her head  were true, she wasn't waking up to a day from one of her weird dreams.  It was dark outside and the kitchen clock if it was right said 1:43 am.  She was still in her work clothes and felt completely gross. With the baby and a cup of coffee she headed for her bedroom. She tucked the baby in her bed as it was asleep, stripped, and stepped in the bathroom attached to her bedroom. 

    As she was letting the water warm she turned to brush her teeth and jumped when she looked int he mirror. She was looked so different, yet the same. "What the hell is this?" she muttered as she examined the tattoo, on her wrist and arm, her ears had grown into points and she looked like she stepped out of a magazine, she had not a single flaw. Memories that were broken swam in her head floating just out of reach as she tried to out together why she looked like this. She knew she had the answers her mind just wasn't with her yet. She pryed her eyes from her own reflection and got in the shower. She had just finished, pulled the curtain and had a towel on her head and another wrapped around her. Rooted through a drawer and had just put on underwear and was pulling her bra straps over her shoulders, when her bedroom door flew open. It startled her bad and woke up the baby who started squaling  really loud. In burst Aries or Arien whatever his name really was, and Eli, Hades and Hermes piled up in the doorway as Aries stopped short, bumping him closer. Awkardness set in. There she was important stuff covered only with three Gods and a werewolf staring at her. 

    Eli was first to speak, "Dammmnnnn Girrlll!  he drawled out with a grin and grabbed the baby and shoved Hades and Hermes out shutting the door. "Do-" was all she got out before Aries cut her off. "Are you okay? Hermes woke up and couldn't find you we had thought this bathroom was a closet. I panicked Are you really okay?"  "Sorta," she said. "I don't really remember just yet, but you guys busting in on me like this isn't helping."  "Right, well." Aries replied. "Well, what? " Felina asked. "Get dressed, so I can check you out." Aries said. " You already are bud, are you going leave so I can?" she said " Nope." was all he said and sat on the bed. She scoffed and crossed her arms and stared right back, hoping if she raked him in like he was her it would make him leave. She held his stormy gray eyes to make sure she had his attention. She then took him in for the first time really. It was the middle of the night and it seemed he came over in his pajamas, he had gym shorts and a pair of sandals on. He was flawless. He was big too, sitting on the bed he was still her height. Broad shoulders and every inch of him was muscle. Dark short cut hair and a dark complection. The look on his face was unreadable, she thought she saw, something of softness in his eyes when she met them again but it quickly went away. Embarrassment rose to her cheeks as she realized severeal minutes went by with them staring at each other. And yet she couldn't move. "Get dressed." a voice in her head said. She went to obey, when another voice said "No, don't he's so hot" She stopped mid move appalled at herself and by the voices in her head that weren't her own. They were going back and forth about him being her mate and it was too soon. They were loud. SHe put her fingers to temple and squeezed her eyes shut. 

    Aries c****d his head and asked "You okay?" "ya i think so, there's just stuff in my head and and well, I don't know. What the hell happened?" She stammered out. " I will tell you and the others will fill in you in. But you have to get dressed , the longer you stand there like that the harder it is."  he said. " The harder what is? I am just just well I don't freaking know, " she almost snapped. "I know " he said "It's just hard to not, not..." he trailed off, "just get dressed I'd help but I cna't go near you right now, not like this." he said. "please, just get dressed. " She was confused at his words and did as he said. Jeans and tshirt it was. When she had her pants done up she looked at him again, "Now, what?" "Now," he said. " Come here so I can hug you real quick." She wanted to fight it and tell him no  he really had no business but the voices were still gong at it and she couldn't explain why she wanted  one from him, so she did she closed the distance between them and stood before him. He reached out and pulled her in, instantly all stopped and nothing mattered. Twice this guy had done this to her with a hug, she needed to know why.
