Alex's POV:
Mr Deville’s sudden death put me in a very awkward situation. I naturally wanted to be with Owen, to comfort him now that he was going through a very tough time.
But there was Richard also, who needed my attention.
I was sort of in a dilemma, I was torn between being with Owen and being with Richard. Don't get me wrong, I would want to pick Owen over Richard if given the opportunity, but I don't even have that right at the moment.
I hated that this had to be very awakened for us. If we had a normal stepbrother and stepsister relationship, there wouldn’t be any question of whom I should be with. But normal wasn’t a word I usually was associated with.
