Chapter 1:Pilot

Vivian's POV: I had to get out of bed since the sun was shining through the curtain gap. I attempt to go for my glasses when I first wake up, but instead I knock a bunch of things off my nightstand. I reasoned that "Clumsy has to be my middle name." I was able to locate my glasses, so I turned to look at the analogue clock hanging in the room's corner. It displayed "11:26." As soon as I realised I had to meet Elias at 10:00 am, a surge of terror swept over me. As I put on my clothing, I had the thought, "That poor lad must have been waiting for hours." Since kindergarten, Elias and I have been friends, and after the summer, we will both be attending Eriwald College. Despite the fact that he occasionally acted like an i***t, he was a great guy in general. One last look into my handbag and I set off for Jeremiah's Woods. Elias's POV: "For f**k's sake, Vivi, where are you?" I wondered, aimlessly waving a wooden stick. "I've been waiting for her for more than an hour, and she has yet to appear. Vivi was a wonderful friend, but when it came to punctuality, she was as unreliable as....." I slipped and fell as a result of that. "... as unreliable as my footing," I chuckled. "You fell again?" said a voice from behind me. "Vivi, do you have a clock at home?" I responded. "Stop calling me that or your pretty face will be no more." Vivian seethed. "Calling you what, Vivi?" I uttered and ran. "She's so annoyed when I call her that," I contemplated. "You're never catching me,Vivi"My thoughts wandered back to the days when Vivian and I would spend all day playing tag. I came to a halt and looked at her, reflecting on how quickly time had passed. We were unbreakable. Vivian's POV: "Vivian Enquist". My parents gave me a silly name just so Elias could call me Vivi. I'd always thought that it was cute, but I was nowhere near giving him the satisfaction of victory. I was about to smack Elias in the face when he queried, "Vivi, want to go to Lotus Cove tonight?" I halted, knowing that Lotus Cove had been closed for more than a year due to a growing wolf population. "What makes you want to go there?" "Come on, it's been ages since we went. Eriwald might be the most boring location on Earth, and it'll be like old times." "Got to agree with the Eriwald bit there. This place is more monotonous than history classes." "Tonight at 11 p.m., we leave from my house." I yelled. "Whoa, take it easy there. Do we have any flashlights?" "I have them; they're in my Dad's shed." I informed him. "Good, we can go away easily." " Just make sure you're ready at half past 10, and I mean half past ten sharp." He spoke in an authoritative tone. I picked up my handbag and left while Elias left for his home. .................................
