Chapter 10. Breakfast

Well we're not gonna do anything just by lying around here get up I wanna make you breakfast! I looked at him and left you expect me to go upstairs with your roommate with only a shirt on you're crazy he then looked me up and down and said I didn't think that far ahead one second. He then handed me my leggings I had on under my skirt and said here you can wear this for now but once we're back in bed I want them off saying with a stern voice. He grabbed my hand and lead me up the stairs to where the kitchen was I didn't see anyone around so I just assumed they were still in bed asleep. He open the refrigerator door and pulled out a carton of eggs and as the butter on the stove was melting down he stuck the eggs into a measuring cup and proceeded to chop up some red and green peppers as I sat watching him from behind amazed at the fact for once somebody wanted to make me breakfast and I didn't have to pay for it I didn't realize that I was staring off into space when he turned around and asked me what I was thinking about and the only words that come to mind was nothing just thinking about how lucky I am right now being here with you. He smiled at me and said I was just thinking the exact same thing beautiful. Can you turn back around I can tell me what he was doing and I went back to my thoughts in my head.

He's then placed two cups of milk on the table and two plates as well and said breakfast is served but eat fast I just thought of something else we could do I remember you told me that you like to drive around and due to the fact that you don't like to drive around in the city like you told me I bet you have not really seen the sites before in the city! He didn't inform me we're not gonna get out anyway so you don't really have to change if you don't want to but I understand if you'd like to. I didn't look down at what I was wearing and decided I wasn't ready to give up this shirt yet. I think my words made him feel special because I saw his cheeks growing a little red he then looked at me and said all right let's eat before it gets cold he said scrambled eggs are not very good once they get cold he said oh crap I almost forgot and he pulled some syrup out of the cabinet and placed some on my eggs and I looked at him with my brow arched he said don't judge me until you try it I promise it makes it sweet. Just like my sweetie just then I couldn't help but laugh out loud and then it hit him how cheesy it was and he goes yeah that was pretty bad but I'm trying out some new nicknames so bear with me plus I'm sure you don't mind me becoming a babbling fool around you. Because trust me it's gonna happen he said with a smile on his face now eat woman! I took the first flight and couldn't believe he was right I was impressed and looked up and smiled at him and said you know I don't think I'm gonna question anything you do again at least when it comes to my food I said with a laugh. Good he said I plan on cooking for you more often if you don't mind. as we were eating my mind decided to wander off once more thinking how blessed I am right now that such a sweet man would choose me and would want to take care of me. I mean I'm not much to look at he could have any girl way better looking than me sitting with him right now cooking for her smiling at her picking on her with his silly little jokes making her laugh but here I was being that girl.

As I finally came back to the real whorled he was placing the dishes in the sink and told me to go take a shower I wanna take my girl out and show her the town! How am I supposed to do that when you used the one towel and it's sopping wet on the bathroom floor??? I may be the only person using that bathroom but I don't own just one towel silly. Look in the closet on the shelf I promise you'll find more he said to me while laughing at me. I felt a little embarrassed and my face burned red. I found the towels as he instructed and went straight to the bathroom and turned on the shower the water came out fast and hot it was the best shower pressure I've ever seen it was nothing compared to mine ours came out slow and barely any pressure at all. I looked around to see if I can find a shampoo I finally found it when I decided to look up it was on the windowsill. I had to stand on my tippy toes just to reach it darn my height I thought to myself it's always making me have to climb like a freaking monkey half the time I accidentally knocked down some shaving cream thank God he wasn't in here to witness it. I finally reached the shampoo and the conditioner and body wash I decided I might as well go ahead and grab all three instead of having to reach again. I looked at the bottle it was old spice. I lathered the shampoo out on to my hands and start scrubbing it in. I hear a knock on the door and he pops his head in and says are you all right I heard something fall? I popped my head from the side of the shower and said yeah I'm fine just a little accident with the shaving cream I promise it's not broke give me 10 more minutes I promise I'll be out even though I didn't want to get out this was the best shower I've ever had I thought to myself. He then asked me if I wanted some company I looked at him and said only if you can control yourself I said with a smirk on my face. He then laughed and said maybe it's best I just wait out here I don't know how much willpower I will have with you standing in front of me naked all soapy. Suit yourself I said and I finished up with my shower and wrap the town around my head just to dry it out and then placed it around my body and walked out the bathroom. He looked at me and said you know we could always just stay here and you stay like that he then placed his arms around me and kissed my for head and looked at me and said man them eyes and then shake his head nahhh I wanna go for a drive he said. He let me go and headed to the bathroom before I could say a word.

I decided I would wear my leggings with my shorts on top and I took the front of the shirt into my skirt. He finally emerged from the bathroom and said all set? I said not quite yet I need to brush my hair it's a tangle disaster he handed me his hairbrush and said you can use mine you don't need to ask silly.

Finally we were getting into his truck I was having trouble getting in once again he held out his hand and said here let me help you I blushed as I took his hand. He didn't let go of my hand once we ran and hold onto it giving it a little squeeze. We pulled out of his driveway he started showing me all the places he once worked at I didn't look at him very much when he was talking I was too busy staring at the window at all the people in the cars passing by there were so many things to see he drove by a little park and there were children out playing yelling and running around. He started to drive out of the city I looked at him with a where are we going like he said don't worry I'm not gonna kill you just wanna show you something. We finally arrived onto the gravel road they were trees on both sides of the road the leaves were the most beautiful orange color they were changing for fall he turned on the radio and asked me if there was preference of music I would like to listen to I nodded my head no and started looking out the window again he ended up turning on some old country I believe you said his name is Conway Twitty I've never heard of him before but his music wasn't so bad Then the next song changed to a man name George Jones I was starting to think my blue eyed man was a lot older than 33 I looked over at him and called him an old fart he just laughed and said you can't exactly be picky you didn't pick anything while laughing. I started pointing to houses in the background they were so huge and lovely some made out of brick and some are made out of wood some had gats around them and others did not. We drove for a few more hours and then he headed back home.

As the sun was setting we sit on the back porch watching the cars pass by in his backyard he then looked at me and asked are you ready to go home or would you like to stay just one more night with me? I looked at him and said I'll only stay on one condition! Oh really and what is that he said?
