Perches; The Unraveling

Lilly is seated on an office chair, her face glued to the computer over an hour. She's surfing through the internet for some information about Katherine and she could find none. Anytime she searched for Katherine five names pops up Thales Hamsphire, Garrison David, Adebayo Christian, Esther Markson, Star-Bright Liam. She noticed the third person is an African and among which only one is still alive, the rest are dead.

She checks up all five and found they have something in common, a black seal, spherical in shape with a white horse at the center. She has seen similar seal in uncle Sam's cupboard one day she was searching for a book. She quickly got up to search for the same seal in her uncle's cupboard sadly, she couldn't find it. It seems someone has stolen or hid it from her, she thought, it could be no one than uncle Sam. She thought of confronting uncle Sam but later changed her mind. "I think I should get enough information about this before confronting him" she thought again.

She goes back to the computer, seats, brought out her phone, takes the pictures of the seal. She thought her History teacher Mr. Tristan may have information about the seal but before taking it to him, she keeps on searching for more information and founds out Adebayo, the only person that's alive lives in Elnor somewhere around court street. She's surprised why she's so curious about Katherine, the woman that was burnt alive and killed years ago, there's this desire coursing within her, she wants to know more however, the more she digs in, the more she's afraid because the information she sees on net is terrifying.

Searching through the details of Adebayo Christian, she finds a picture of Adebayo and a young man. Mr. Adebayo is smiling and there's a friendly gesture between Adebayo and the young man. Below the picture she finds something interesting, it is written Perches Guide 2003, that's 17 years ago. So, she searched for "Perches Guide" what she saw is more terrifying, horrible, pictures of different men and women burning in fire.

She's very tired but can't stop as much as the information she's getting are terrifying there's a part that interest her and makes her more curious, the mysterious part is being unable to scoop out facts about Katherine. Most information she's got are not in anyway related to Katherine. She's not seen anything about Katherine, not even a picture. She's tired so, she decided to rest her head a little, just then uncle Sam walks in.

"Lilly" he calls out.

Yes uncle. Welcome!.Lilly replied.

"How has your day been?" Samuel asked.

Fine uncle, and yours?"

"Mine was hectic so, what exciting did you do today?"

"Nothing , just surfing through the internet." Lilly said while turning to face him.

"The information must be interesting you hardly use the computer" Uncle Sam seem curious.

Sure, it is" She replied.

"So what's it about? " he asked

it's about a lady called Katherine, Lilly said.

“ Katherine?"

"Yes she answered, as she continued speaking "our History teacher taught about her in school."

Uncle Sam seem surprised, his face changed immediately he heard Katherine, it seems he knows her.

Why are you suddenly quiet?

Do you know her? she asked.

"Off course not?" He shrugged.

So, why are you quiet?

"Just wondering why you are so interested in this topic" he said.

"Well, I love fiction because it's hard to believe a group of people exist who burn others alive for reasons best known to them" she said.

"Lilly was trying to dig out some information from Samuel, she was literally pulling Sam's legs however, Sam knew this so, he said

"I know...it's hard to believe right?. I don't believe such kinds of people exist either"

"Well I'll definitely see to the end of it" Lilly said.

"Okay, tell me when you get there." Samuel said.

Samuel knew she’ll get nothing tangible from the net so he let her to her fate.
