SERENE POINT OF VIEW
I was awaken because of the noise that I’m hearing right now. Slowly open my eyes and the darkness is the first thing that greeted me. I tried blinking ten times but the sight I’m seeing right now is still not changing. It is even darker that earlier.
“Mom,” I called my mother.
“Serene your awake,” she said. “How do you feel?”
I did not answer her. I don’t feel the mood of answering anyone right now. I was so disappointed. Now I can’t see anything anymore. The operation just took my sight away.
“How is your eyes feel, Serene?” the doctor asked me.
“It does not feel anything," I answered.
“That is good,” he said. “Thanks goodness your eyes don’t hurt anymore.”
