Randy carefully treated Stuart's wound. By the next morning, the injury had become inflamed, and swollen, and was beginning to ooze pus. Randy cleaned it thoroughly and then took out antibiotics from the medical kit. The medicine worked wonders, and after finishing the treatment and repacking the supplies, Randy said to Stuart, "Make sure you rest up. It won't be long before you're fully healed."
"Okay, got it," Stuart replied, nodding repeatedly. After giving him a few more instructions, Randy left the cave. Outside, in the camp, Adela and Melia were busy cleaning up the mess from the previous night. When Adela saw Randy emerge, she straightened up and asked, "How's Stuart doing?"
"He's doing pretty well. Now that we've got medicine, he should be back on his feet soon," Randy replied.
