WAITING FOR THE CORN The five of them sat locked in a small room under the Great Hall. They were still chained together, but compared to the Town Hall it was an improvement. There were no rats, the light was on and someone had even given them a bowl of rotten fruit to eat. Jonny chewed a sour pear with a grimace. But no-one else was hungry.
