Julian's POV
"Mr.Thorne" The waiter at the door greeted me with a slight bow.
"Same venue right?" I confirmed as I headed inside.
"No, Mr.Carr has moved the venue to the inner VIP room. He instructed me to lead you there" he answered in a heartbeat.
Ethan Carr and his arrogance.
"Lead the way then" I bit out perfectly hiding my irritation. The earlier I get a better company to work with in New Jersey the better for me, an arrogant jerk like Ethan might just get me to kill him one of these days.
The waiter led me through the restaurant past the guests and into the back room where the VIP rooms were. I didn't need to ask to know that shady businesses go on in here but I am a businessman, I do business with people that I have to do business with and discard them once I can, which is exactly the situation in Ethan's case. I knew about his shady acts even before agreeing to do business with him. All I have to do is keep myself out of all his illegal acts so that when I am ready to pull it out as a businessman and my lawyer career comes up, I would have all I need to press charges and still keep all I need for my company. A beautiful win-win for me.
Ethan is just too foolish not to have fully checked my profile to know exactly the type of lawyer I am and what I do to people of his kind.
"Mr.Carr is in the last room" The waiter directed his eyes darting around like he was scared something or someone was going to come at him. Guess he knows something which is a big surprise considering Ethan is the type to get rid of you at the slightest risk of being exposed.
"You'd better keep your mouth shut, Ethan is a crazy man and I am sure you value your life" I warned following my intuition.
The waiter turned to me shocked, "I do...n't kn...ow what you are talking about, Mr.Thorne" he stammered fear in his eyes like I am the one he should be afraid of.
"I am sure you do. You also know I am nothing like him and I won't hurt you unless you wouldn't have followed me in here so I will say it again keep your mouth shut"
He nodded his head, his eyes still darting around the room like he couldn't wait to leave. Scumbag Ethan and ruling with fear.
I nodded curtly as he quickly took that as his cue to leave.
I glanced around the hallway with so many rooms on each side, each with different VIP room numbers pasted on it. Bringing Sienna to New Jersey was just done out of anger, I knew she would have hated coming here, and I didn't expect her to be so scared of a plane.
Although I never planned on bringing her here, not to a meeting with a pervert like Ethan Carr.
I didn't miss the loud moans that came from one of the rooms as I walked past. I held in a gag blanking my mind as I walked through, just a few more months and they will both be behind bars.
I finally got to the last door, his name Ethan Carr boldly written on the door. I couldn't even knock before the door swung open revealing a man dressed in all black. He was almost my height but thankfully I am blessed with height so I still towered over him at least to an extent to mention my confidence.
"Mr.Carr has been waiting," he said in a monotone voice before ushering me in. I kept my face plain and expressionless as I walked in preparing myself for the drama called Ethan Carr.
Just as expected he was doing the oddest of things for someone who was waiting for a meeting to start. There was a woman tied up to his chair while he played with her like she meant nothing... pig.
"Ethan" I called out in a clipped voice letting my irritation show.
"Let me finish my meal, Julian" he shot back, not bothering to even look up at me. His hands fumbled with her breasts while she sat there wiggling in pain and pleasure as she kept moaning. His hands moved between her exposed p***y pushing two fingers in without warning, the lady crying out.
Ethan wanted me to watch just like he always did when we were little and now they are exactly the same thing, Ethan turned out exactly like he did even after all I did to try to help him. I should have known better than to have agreed to this meeting especially since he insisted he couldn't come to New York. I wouldn't even be surprised if the old man is around here somewhere but I'm sure Ethan knows better than that.
The woman wriggled and wriggled till she screamed loudly plopping down on the chair.
"That's more like it" Ethan cooed, bringing his fingers to his lips. He instructed the man from earlier to untie her as he adjusted himself finally turning to face me.
He smirked as he watched me with a dark calculated look in his eyes.
"Hello Brother"
I f*****g hate that term.
