Julian's POV "Sir, I think there is something really wrong with Miss Blake" Milan, my flight attendant said as she walked into my cabin her eyes fearful. I knew something was up but I couldn't pinpoint it. There is no point asking her any questions J would go take a look myself. "Ask John to hold on first" I instructed already heading towards where she was. "Okay Sir" she nodded heading towards the pilot's wing just as the plane jerked a little signaling he had started moving. "Don't worry let him be" I quickly changed my mind. Immediately Mh ehes fell on Sienna panic-filled me. Tears were streaming down her cheeks as she breathed heavily, clinging to the chairs like it was her only life support. Her eyes were turning white as her breathing increased, she was going to pass out at this rate. She is having a panic attack... I know this anywhere. "Sienna" I hurried over to her side attempting to take her hands off the chair and place them in mine but immediately I touched her she jerked back like I had burnt her tongue to further push herself into the couch like it could protect her. Someone hurt her, it must have been so bad to have gotten her this scared. Something animalistic burned in my chest at the realization. This is why she tried avoiding this trip, she should have said something, what the f**k was she thinking? Mum tried something similar with her fear so many years ago and that singular act landed us back in the same place we were both trying to escape from but sadly she got what she wanted months later with a life to live for it. "Sienna" I called out again but this time I didn't try touching. "Sienna, breathe, no one is here to hurt you, just breathe," I said softly doing my best to keep my emotions in check. A feeling of dejavù and nostalgia hit me at once, the pain of loss that is always buried rearing its ugly head. "Please stop, please go away" she cried trashing around. "Sienna, please you are going to hurt yourself, stop thinking so much, there is no one here who is going to hurt you" I tried keeping my voice comforting enough to make her feel safe. Her heartbeat was increasing with each pacing second and if she doesn't snap out of this soon she might go into shock. "Sienna" I pleaded. J should have seen the signs, I should have understood the dread in her eyes, the silence, the look on her face when we got here, how could I have missed all of this? It was right in front of me. I let my anger towards her cloud my thoughts and now she might just die here. "Please" she sobbed her voice so broken, it hurt. She doesn't need my pity right now all she needs is my help. Taking a deep breath I reached for her hands once again this time more calmly and protectively. Thankfully she didn't fight me. "Sienna, it's just me Julian, no one is going to hurt you. I am here, I will make sure you are protected" I assured hoping she could at least make sense of my words to keep her calm. Her trashing around had gone down to mere shivering but she still cried uncontrollably whispering to herself. I sighed drawing small circles on her hand as I spoke softly to her but it only seemed to stop her from getting worse, it didn't bring her out of her head and so I did the one thing I never saw myself doing for anyone other than my mother. I sang. I sang softly to her just like I always did with Mum, I hummed the tunes where needed, and used the words she needed to hear. I pulled her in once she stopped muttering to herself trying to stop her shivering, thankfully she didn't fight that too. I dropped her on my lap bringing my mouth closer to her ears as I sang. I played with her soft hair letting her cool off on my body and before I knew it she was fast asleep. I watched her as she slept something unusual filling my heart as I watched her chest rise and fall. I had suspected something like this that night at the charity gala when I touched her but I didn't really read meaning into it as I thought she was just uncomfortable with the idea of being with me but now I understand better. "Gideon," I said as soon as the person on the other line picked up. "Mr.Thorne, what a pleasure to hear from you" he answered, his words sounding excited and surprised but his tone gave otherwise. "I need you to get me all you can on Sienna Blake and sharp, get your hands dirty if you need to" I instructed. Whoever hurt her better be dead already, fake girlfriend or not I can't have anyone hurting her, she has to feel and be safe at least till all of this is done. "Oh, your new catch? This seems interesting" he chuckled a bit of joy in it. A really sad man Julian is. "How so?" I bit out hating the fact that I asked already. "You never care to know anything about any of the women you carry around ex they have stolen from you and you want to get back at them" In as much as he is right, this conversation is not necessary right now. "Just do as I have asked please and leave your thoughts and questions out of it" He paused momentarily only his deep breathing assuring me that he was still on the call with me. "You will get everything by morning" he spoke up. Exactly why he will always be the man for the job. "That's more like it" I nodded although he couldn't see me. He grunted in response just before I ended the call. I am sorry Sienna if this breaks a rule but if you couldn't tell me about this then there's no way you are telling me what happened and I just need to be sure you are safe and no one is after you.
