Julian's POV "If you actually want this meeting to hold I advice you don't use that term again" I warned trying to contain the anger that was brewing in my heart. "Come on,don't be like that. We are brothers aren't we?" Ethan chuckled walking closer to me,a mischievous hlint in his eyes that fueled my anger even more. I should have declined this meeting or even sent someone in my place. "Why did you insist we meet here,Ethan?" He chuckled, making himself comfortable on the chair in front of his desk. "We have business to discuss, Julian. Have you forgotten?" "Business that couldn't be discussed over the phone? I am a busy man. I don't have time for your silly games," I kept my voice blank as I spoke. There is no need to let him get what he wants. "I see you have a new plaything." The excitement in his voice made me very uncomfortable. "Is that the business you want to discuss? I don't see how my personal life is any of your business." Ethan has a very bad history when it comes to women, just like every other thing in his life. I wouldn't put it past him to have something going on in his head concerning Sienna. It wouldn't be the first time he was having his eyes on a woman who is clearly mine. He laughed, like laughed out loud like I just cracked a joke. "Personal life? Really, Julian?" He said, still laughing, pissing me off even more. "Come of it, Julian. We both know when it comes to women in your life, there is nothing personal. We are brothers. You have to share. Wouldn't you share with your dear brother?" The mockery in his voice was very obvious. It's been 5 years yet the mere sight of Ethan brings back everything, and he never fails to remind of it either. Seline, the first woman who ever caught my attention in ways I didn't even believe possible. Isadora had tried everything, but the moment I met Seline I knew whatever I felt for Isadora was nothing more than love for a friend. It was at a bar. Ethan, Isadora, and I had gone out that night. Isadora was able to convince me to give Ethan a chance, that he may not be as bad as I have believed him to be, and I foolishly believed her. Little did I know I was letting my father's exact replica into my life. We were drinking and talking when Seline walked into the bar, and I was completely smitten by her. But Ethan was quick to talk down on her, saying he had met prettier girls and I should not get carried away by such "mediocre beauty". Those were his exact words. I ignored him and approached Seline. She was everything. Her eyes, her smile, the way her whole face lit up when she is laughing. We clicked immediately and I knew exactly what I wanted, but Ethan had other plans. Three months into Seline and I's relationship, I walked into Ethan and Seline f*****g each each other like they have been together for years, and apparently they had. They had dated for a year before I met her, but Ethan, being Ethan, cut things off when she found out he was a one-day thing. He had seen me with her and suddenly wanted her again. Seline fell for his charms once again, like it was nothing. "Come on, brother, we don't want a repeat of the past, now do we?" His eyes were glittering with mischief,he is enjoying every bit of this. "We could share openly instead of going behind each other's back, right?" "Go to hell, Ethan!" I spat. I have had enough. I should have known he had nothing valuable to say. As I turned to leave, my ears quickly caught the words his little bodyguard whispered into his ears. "Sir, there is a woman requesting to see Mr. Thorne downstairs." Sienna... I f*****g asked her not to come! How the hell did she even find her way here? Leah is so losing her job! I was out the door before Ethan could even put himself together. I walked fast, almost running, shocking myself at the panic that attacked me. Just as expected, Sienna was standing by the door, dressed in a way that made my skin crawl. Two security guards stood beside her, saying something to her that she definitely didn't like, judging by the expression on her face. "Sienna?" I breathed out, rushing over to her. Immediately her eyes caught mine. She tore herself away from their grip, running towards me like her life depended on it. She threw herself on me, hugging me so tight it felt too real to just be part of our acting. "What are you doing here?" I asked once I found my voice, my hand wrapping around her on instinct, holding her just as tight. "I was so scared, they were going to throw me out. It would have been so bad" she whispered into my shirt, ignoring my question. "That can't happen, not on my watch," I assured her, rubbing her back to calm her down. "Isn't all of this so sweet?" Ethan's malice filled voice drawled from behind, making me release my tight hold on Sienna, but I still kept her close to me. Right now I wouldn't mind putting a bullet through his head.
