Sienna's POV "You cannot be serious" I chuckled shaking my head. Why would he even think of this? "I wish I wasn't" He murmured, his eyes watching me like I was some kind of entertainment and it didn't look like the good type. "Why will you even suggest this? You don't know me and I definitely don't know you, this is totally absurd" I exclaimed folding my arms across my chest as I spoke. " You are yet to state the actual problem here," He said smugly leaning further into the couch. "Really, that is not a problem to you?" I questioned. "Of course not, people who don't know themselves date all the time" "That's totally different from what you are suggesting" I exclaimed throwing my hands at his outrageous suggestion. "How so?" He asked staring at me like some child just trying to throw a tantrum. "You said it is going to be fake right, nothing attached?" I confirmed. "Yes, why? You want something more?" He taunted making me roll my eyes. "You wish" I snickered, although sadly a part of me didn't mind it. "Exactly my point" He piped up at my little response. "Your point?" I repeated confused. "Yes, you are not stating what the exact problem is" "Okay then, please enlighten me, what do you think the problem is?" I asked watching him as he adjusted himself on the sofa. "I don't think. I actually know what the problem is and on a normal day I would have found it quite demeaning but since it is coming from you I am pretty much less concerned" He responded. "You sound really sure, mind telling me what it is" I probed further. "We both know what it is already" He leaned back, crossing his arm across his chest before continuing, "I have always known you to be a lady who loves a good life" I know better than to assume he just complimented me. "You know the type that prefers men who love to flaunt their money at every given opportunity, grant your every desire, support your excesses" "Excuse me?" I snapped offended, I just knew it was no compliment. "Why would you even say that? You barely know me and yet you are already making such assumptions about me" I yelled. "Well I am not wrong, why else are you so opposed to the idea of dating me" He defended. "Fake Dating you mean" "That's not the point and you know it" He shot back. "It is" I pointed out but the look in his eyes told me exactly what he was thinking. "You really think my hesitation is because of you, don't you?" "Of course, it is not like I am asking you to even marry me, just act like we are in a relationship for some time and then you could just pop up one day and act like we have broken up" He shrugged casually. "Look at the good side, your mother won't try to hook you up with men" He added the tone in his voice giving me a very bad feeling about this. "You don't think my mother was the one who arranged this?" I asked already having the answer to my question. "I never said that" He shrugged but it was very much obvious. "I just find it really coincidental that you just had to be the woman of the night, knowing fully well the man you claim is now your ex-one who worked for me, or don't you think so?"He taunted. He was trying to get a reaction out of me and it is working so well. "Or perhaps you were expecting someone more influential and you met me and now you can't wait to bolt out of here and forget this night ever happened" He continued smirking at me. He isn't even making any sense right now and I doubt he knows it. "You know what fine, I will do it but we will do it on my terms" I snapped determined to prove his sorry ass wrong. His eyes darkened as he stared at me like I just proposed a challenge to him. "Your terms?" He chuckled. "And what are they?" "They are more like rules and we would have to sign a contract to bind it," I said. "I am a businessman, Sienna, I don't do business without putting it down on paper for documentation"He responded offended. "Just to be sure, we are on the same page" I nodded. "This should be the part where I call in my secretary to take down all you all about to say but this has to be confidential, only the both of us must know about it, so I guess I will draft out the contract myself," He said, standing up and walking towards the mahogany table at the end of the room. "Only the both of us?". There is no way I can keep this from Lila she would know something is wrong. "You have a problem with keeping your mouth shut, birdie?". His shoulders flexed as he reached for a stack of papers on the shelf. "Don't call me that and No I don't, I just thought I could tell at least one person I trust about it" I answered rolling my eyes at the name he used. "Who may that be? Damon, I presume" "Rule one Mr. Julian Thorne, No talking about my ex EVER" I spat getting agitated over his attitude. "I don't know what he may have done to you and honestly I don't care but I suggest you sort whatever it is out with him and stop acting like I am here because of him. No matter what happens do not mention his name for any reason, are we clear?" I added making sure my voice gave off how serious I was. He muttered under his breath before speaking up, "Clear" "Better" "Since you are so eager to start stating your rules, might as well finish what you have already started, because I would like to state my rules too" "Your rules?" "Yes Blake, aren't we stating our rules and what we can work it?" He asked, his tone indicating his question was a rhetorical one. First Birdie and now using my last name with so much authority, this man has got to be kidding me. I am yet to fully agree to this arrangement and I already feel like it is going to be a very horrible idea. "You know what, Fine" I breathed. This may be a horrible idea but it will mean no more random dates for the next few months and that is a lot to me.
