13Caprock headquarters sat midway between Dulles International Airport and downtown DC. Following the two-lane road into the office park, I passed lines of leafy green poplars. The trees separated rows with spaces for two hundred cars. The fringe areas of the lot were empty. I counted eight cars parked closer to the park’s three sleek glass-and-steel structures. I headed for the gleaming five-story building at the center. Caprock HQ was on the ground floor. I was glad to see no cars parked out front. So far, I was alone here.
