One of my spies had informed me that the Supremes would be off their pack land for a few hours, leaving Beta Ryker in charge; I was a wanted man. s**t, we are all wanted men since we mated Esmi, however, I wanted to be free of her f**k ups, she had been hiding things from me, and as far as I know, she was dealing in some wicked s**t. Jerod had change, he always came home drunk and I saw him and Esmi in deep arguments all the time, then I would hear them f*****g like bunnies. Jerrod wasn't a bad kid; I tried my best not to get involved in their mess because we were both mated to Esmi, and it was allowed, so it was the goddess's will. I drove up to the gate and requested a meeting; the guards knew who I was and let me in, I was led to the office by their General, Tommen. I bowed in respect before I was asked, "Why the sudden visit? Do you have a death wish?" Tommen left the room, and I smiled, trying to show I came in peace, and asked, "Do they trust you enough to leave you alone with me?" He smiled and said, "I am the Supreme Beta's mate, I'm in charge when all others are off pack land, and because you are no real threat to me." That kind of hurt, but I want a different direction for Rogueland, and this was the opportunity to get it. Ty appeared in the room, and I tensed up because I knew how ruthless he could be; he was the executioner in Ravena and could kill you if he deemed fit. He looked at us, saying, "Sorry, I was getting my day's run, my wolf is on edge, especially when my mate is near."

He looked at me and asked, "Why are you here? A wanted man doesn't usually hand themselves over, especially when it means death; do you expect to leave here alive?" I swallowed because he was right, but it was a risk I was willing to take, and I told them what I had planned, and if they pardoned me, I would be under their rule. Although technically we still were, we were just rivals, castaways from packs and clans, some of us criminals and others just banished like me. They wanted Esmerelda, especially after the stunt she pulled with Gamma, Ty's mate, and before she got us all killed, I needed to do something. Esmi had changed, and it pained me because I had to give her up; I loved her, but her love for revenge was more than I could bear. After making the deal and getting my pardon, I left to go home and wait until the time was right; I informed Rex of what would happen, and we prepared our rebels.

I stopped to get dinner from my long trip and returned to the Palace; Esmerelda was in bed, and Jerrod was out with friends as usual. She looked at me and smiled, "I missed you," and she walked up to kiss me, and I told her, "Business trip," and she asked, "Where?" So, I told her, "Aidan's territory," and she froze, asking, "What were you doing there? Did they hurt you?" I smiled, saying, "No, I didn't run into them, but I met a few people who want to do business with us," and she smiled, "Good, I can't wait to get Drax to go crazy after losing his sons." I said, "We need to focus on business so that Julias can have the empire you built," just to appease her. She agreed, and we ended up in bed wrapped up in each other; Jerrod came home a little later, drunk and smelling of she-wolves, and Esmerelda was angry; he let it slip they had planned to kill me.

Esmeralda looked at me, pale; she was caught and walked over to me, saying, "It's not true," and I said, "Wow," before leaving her to run behind me, saying, "It was a joke." I woke up the next day in the guest room, not even caring anymore that my mate wanted me dead, she entered my room, eyes red. She was crying and crawled into the bed next to me, saying, "I'm sorry, I should have never entertained the idea, Jerrod just feels intimidated by you," and I stopped her, saying, "If you came here to kill me, just do it." I had heard about Sheila's demise, and I was furious; she was mated to Ty Cloudwater, and I needed to get in contact with her. I know her entity was stripped, but if we can get her to work with us from the inside, then maybe all is not lost. According to my spies in Frogger Forrest, she is a prisoner and practically human and Ty doesn't want her; she is the only supreme mate who is treated like s**t and this could work to my advantage. I need to get a spy to befriend her and get information so that we can use it against them; she can be easily manipulated now. I had sent rogues to kill her; she would have been out for at least fifteen to twenty minutes, giving me enough time to speak with her, but Ty intervened, and it failed. I am also in the process of screwing Drax over and getting my revenge, I was recently changed to a hybrid, and the extra powers I get as a hybrid are amazing.

I just needed an immortal spell so I could achieve my goals; the battle is not lost, and we have all the time in the world to set this right. Jerrod was out drinking and probably f*****g some she-wolf again, I hate it when he is like this, what could be bothering him this much that he is doing this to himself? I got word when my husband was back from his trip, Jerrod didn't trust him and thought we should get rid of him, and quite frankly, he has been acting strange lately, we hardly f**k each other now, especially since I had his daughters.
