Fixer POV
Melony was over the moon to be going next door for a barbecue; she had no idea what was going down, just that Zero was there and she was ready to spend more time with him. She acted as I expected her to, and Zero was more than happy to have her in his arms. The brothers were the same, both carrying us about, and wanting us on their laps. I wonder if his father was like that with his mum. I mean, does it wear off, or will Tank always be my chair?
The men around the grill were all chatting and laughing; you wouldn't know that this morning they had a big change in the club, and that change was about to reach our gate.
The meal was great, the men really do know how to cook a juicy steak on the barbecue. Might have to check out the fridges tomorrow and see if they need restocking.
