CHAPTER 3
The following day Amelia and Sylvia made arrangements to go to the city and check the library to see if there were any news reports about Springfields, they weren’t prepared for what they were to find. They found many things had happened at Headley House, but no answers as to why. It had been suspected Mr & Mrs Williams had been murdered, but there was no way of proving it. They had both been found in bed and their deaths had been unexplained, according to the coroner.
“Back in the 1800s they didn’t have the technology, they have today, they were very limited” said Sylvia.
“I don’t think it would matter Mammy, judging by the description I’d say they were scared to death” said Amelia reading the news report.
