CHAPTER 2
Summer had arrived, and what a beautiful day it was! Elisha was in the garden with Hope, who was playing in the swimming pool her father had recently put together for her. It was only an old tractor tyre and ground sheet - however, Hope loved it. She was splashing around and squealing with delight. Elisha had erected a makeshift tent to keep the sun off. Hope stopped squealing and looked dead ahead: all was quiet and there was a strange feeling in the air. Elisha turned to look in the direction Hope was looking, but saw nothing. “What is it little one?”
Hope slowly turned to look at her mother. “There was a lady over there in a green dress - she was waving at me.” Hope looked puzzled. Elisha quickly went over to the area, but saw nothing. “Jasmine, are you back?” whispered Elis
