I returned to my apartment, a pizza box dangling in my hand while I unlocked the door. It’s been a long day, and I wanted nothing more but to get some sleep. I froze, sensing someone’s presence inside. I turned to where the kitchen was and saw the lights were on. With slow and steady steps, I walked my way towards the door and heard footsteps inside. I didn’t even bother taking my gun out as I already knew who it was.
I entered the kitchen and saw Hunter fixing himself a coffee. “What the hell are you doing here?”
