Sadie’s brows rose, and she looked surprised.
“You…you want us all to go to the country?”
She seemed hesitant, which made me frown. “You don’t like that idea?”
She quickly shook her head. “Oh, no! That’s not it. I think it’s a great idea, I just…”
Trailing off, she glanced away, but not before I caught sight of the blush spreading across her cheeks. What was she thinking? I’d give just about anything to know what was on her mind at that moment. Was she nervous to be secluded in the country with me?
