“Look at the audacity!” Mia barked out a harsh laughter. “You think the entire world is out to get you? You think our entire lives revolve around you and your sob story?”
Taken aback by her harshness, I took an involuntary step back, but from the looks on both Cindy, Trisha and Laura’s faces, I wasn’t the only person surprised by her outburst.
