And why was I always at the centre of all this mess?
Was it because I was the future Alpha? Did they think I was a brainless i***t? Easy to manipulate and easy to win over?
I sighed and ran a hand down my face. I was tired of dealing with Shane. He had a ton of issues to solve for himself and maybe going to New York was the best thing that could have happened to him.
But right now, he was the least of my problems. So I decided to make amends before he left, in hope that this was the last time I would see this version of him. But now, I wasn’t so sure anymore. I wasn’t sure if this was the last time I was going to see him being a d**k and I wasn’t sure if he was ever going to get out this phase where his family’s opinion of him dictated majority of his life.
