After Nariya changed her clothes, she went straight to the bathroom to shower, wash her face, and brush her teeth. She then returned in a loose t-shirt and shorts.
"Why are you here?"
"Just dropping by," Phakin looked at her sweet face to see her reaction. Seeing her confusion, he smiled fondly.
"Did you take the wrong medicine?"
"Hmm, you're quite argumentative now, unlike a few months ago."
"I've always been like this. I'm not a quiet person."
"Yeah, I believe that."
"So why are you here, P'Kin?"
"I told you, just dropping by."
"....."
Her well-shaped eyebrows furrowed until they almost touched. Her big round eyes looked at his clothes and she had to believe what he said because he came in a t-shirt and long pants, just like when he's at home.
"You woke up and came right away?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"I just wanted to come."
"You're crazy."
"Yeah, probably. I'm going to sleep now."
"What....."
After speaking, Phakin got up from the sofa and walked to open the bedroom door. Nariya watched him in confusion, but when she followed him into the bedroom, she was shocked again when Phakin casually lay down on her bed.
"I worked until almost morning. When I suddenly woke up, I drove straight here. Let me sleep a bit more."
"Go sleep at your place."
"If I wanted to sleep at home, why would I come all the way here?" he said softly.
".....Then go sleep with your friends," she said hesitantly, as it was his personal matter and she didn't want to interfere.
".....You know about this?" Phakin paused for a moment before asking.
"Yeah, Rin told me."
"What did she tell you?"
"Just... the phone number."
"Then you must know I didn't give that number to you."
"Yeah."
"So why are you kicking me out?"
"....."
"Let's just sleep."
"!!!!"
She stood stunned by his question and didn't have time to react when suddenly Phakin got up from the bed, pulled her into his strong arms, and gently pulled her onto the bed with him.
"Just sleep."
"What's it got to do with me? You sleep, just let go."
"Just stay with me for a while....."
"....."
Nariya tried to wriggle free from the strong arms holding her, but it seemed to be in vain, as the owner of the large frame held her tightly. Her slender legs were trapped under his, preventing her from escaping.
Within a few minutes, she heard the steady sound of breathing next to her ear, prompting her to turn and look. The owner of the large body was fast asleep, still holding her tightly. The young woman sighed softly, lost in her thoughts, and soon she too drifted off to sleep.
After her large eyes had gently closed for a short while, his sharp eyes opened. He pulled the blanket from the foot of the bed to cover them both. One strong arm moved to support the beautiful head that had turned to lie on its side when he loosened his embrace. He smiled fondly before the other free strong arm loosely embraced the slender body, and his sharp eyes closed again.
2 hours later
"Hello"
"Hey, P'Kin, what are you doing? Do you know that Khun Nop has been looking for you everywhere? You didn't even answer the calls."
A loud voice came through after Phakin answered Nariya's phone, seeing it was his sister's number.
Phakin had left the phone on the sofa, so he didn't hear it ring, but his instincts woke him when the woman's phone rang on the bedside table.
"What's up?"
"There's a ton of work. The goods are delayed and can't be delivered on time. Get to the company now."
"Alright, alright, let me wake up Nam first."
"Wake her up?"
"Don't overthink it, nothing happened."
"You crazy brother, if you do anything to my friend, I will tell mom."
"You're talking too much. Go ahead and tell her, that's it."
After hanging up, the pretty phone was placed back where it was, before the tall figure got up from the bed and went to grab a neatly hung towel, clearly the one the sleeping woman used, opened the bedroom door, and disappeared into the bathroom.
A while later, Phakin came out of the bathroom, wearing the same clothes as before, and went to wake Nariya to go with him.
The young woman woke up, showered, and changed, looking confused. She didn't understand why he wanted her to go with him, but she complied willingly. At least she wouldn't be alone and bored.
"Wear this."
"....."
She rolled her eyes in annoyance when she came out of the bathroom in a modest outfit. The beautiful white dress he had chosen was handed to her.
"Why, don't you like it?"
"Can you step out for a moment?"
Phakin walked out of Nariya's bedroom, not forgetting to close the door. He sent a message to his personal assistant that he was heading to the office.
It wasn't long before Nariya came out wearing an ivory white dress with puff sleeves and a long skirt that covered her knees. The wide neckline showed off her beautifully shaped collarbone.
"Bare neck."
"I didn't bring any jewelry from home."
"Alright, let's go."
After driving through heavy traffic for over two hours, Phakin brought Nariya to his family's company. He parked the car on the executive floor before taking her up to his office.
"Sit and relax for a bit. I need to change clothes first."
He instructed in his deep voice as he walked beside a shelf, which had a passageway leading to his private bathroom. Opposite the bathroom was a bedroom, which he often used when he was too lazy to go home.
Phakin entered the bedroom, took out his work clothes to change, and then returned to his desk, ready to work.
"Mr. Nop," he said softly as he pressed the internal phone and called his personal assistant. Within minutes, there was a knock on the office door, followed by the entrance of a tall man who appeared to be several years older.
"Here you go."
The large hand received a luxurious tablet from the assistant. After reviewing the report, he returned it to Nopphon and gave detailed instructions. Once Nopphon left the room, he opened the computer and began working.
"Hey, Nam, can you order some food and snacks? I probably won't be able to go down for lunch."
"Okay."
"Use my phone to order."
"Which device...?"
"Hold on... just charge it to my card. The code is..."
After instructing her, he took his personal phone out of the desk drawer, scanned his fingerprint to unlock it, and then gave her the code needed for ordering food from the app.
Nariya got up from the sofa to take his phone, which he handed to her, and opened the application.
"What would you like to eat?"
"Anything, just order."
Nariya ordered various foods and snacks, along with her favorite coffee drink, then completed the payment and placed the phone back on his desk.
"You can hold onto it for now. They'll probably call again."
The phone, which had just been placed down, was picked up again by her slender hand before she took it back to the sofa and set it on the table.
"Can I grab a book to read?"
"Sure, you can read any book in this room."
"Thank you."
When each of them was lost in their own thoughts, the room fell into silence once again. Phakin spent almost the entire day working. Occasionally, he glanced at the young woman. He wondered if she would complain or act childish about having to sit bored with him all day. Especially since they weren't anything to each other, she had the right to complain that bringing her along was a waste of her time.
"Hello."
"Hey, Nam, where are you? I want to invite you out."
"With your brother, Phakin."
"What?"
"...at the office."
"Are you heading back soon?"
"Hold on... Phakin, Rin is asking if we're heading back soon?" the sweet voice asked the owner of the room.
"We'll head back in a bit. Why?" Phakhin looked up from the documents in front of him and asked back.
"Rin said she wants to invite me out."
"No, you can't go. That's final."
"...Did you hear the answer?" Nariya asked her friend on the line, looking puzzled.
"Put it on speaker... Hey, Phakin, it's your sister here! Can't Nam hang out with her friends sometimes?" Narins's loud voice came out after Nariya put it on speaker.
"Just wait at home," Phakin said before bowing his head to continue working.
"..." Nariya and Narin fell silent together when they heard what Phakin said.
"Looks like I'll see you at your house then," Nariya said in a tired voice.
"Yeah, probably. See you then."
"Yeah."
After Narin hung up, Nariya put the book back in its place and sat playing on her phone, waiting for him on the sofa.
Not long after, Phakin shut down the computer, stood up to his full height, and walked Nariya out of the room.
