It was 6pm, in the evening and Dorcas and her mother were in the hotel suite, watching a movie together . They laughed as they were enjoying the movie, Dorcas mother stared at Dorcas as she was happy and then she recalled Dorcas’s childhood and how she and her husband maltreated Dorcas. She wished she could turn back the hands of the clock. Mrs Elliot never really had the guts to talk to her daughter because she still felt that Dorcas was angry with her, but she looked all happy .
