Rather than feeling surprised with the news about Akira, I’m more perplexed with Hikaru’s word. “You can’t grow stronger if you’re in a team full of mediocre players.” Even until now, Hikaru’s word stings so much in my heart. I know that Hikaru is always blunt whenever he expresses his own opinion. But this time, his word pierces me deeper than before. No matter how hard I try to shake it off, it’s still stuck in my mind.
Because of his word, I begin to think about transferring to another school which fits me better. Putting the weak basketball team aside, the rest of the school aspect in Minagawa Academy seems fine to me.
