“Okay guys, I have good news for you,” Coach Hayashima says to us when we gather before the practice begins. “The preliminaries for Inter High are getting nearer. So, I’ve already scheduled a practice match for you. This weekend, we’ll have a practice match with Yokozuno Vocational High School.”
Everyone cheers when the coach mentions that school name. It was the school that we lost during the preliminaries last year. Having a practice match with them will mean that we can have a revenge for the last year’s loss. Although, I don’t think it’s the right thing to do in the practice match. Practice match is meant for putting our practice effort to test. It feels a lot different than the official game.
