Chapter 1

I'm so sick of anyone controlling me. I never thought that I'm gonna hate him even more. Fine! I'll stay here for the whole day. I won't ever take the exam he prepared. "Let's see who's going to give up." I sarcastically smile at him who keeps checking his wrist watch. I guess he had important appointments to do but he's stuck here inside my room. Instead of minding him, I just decided to get my cellphone on my bedside table only to realize that it was confiscated. I hurriedly jumped off my bed to check my computer but even our internet was cut off. Damn it! I have nothing else to do but to stare at my window hoping that my cousins would do something to help me get out of this hell. I can't break my promise to Chase and Eros. Their game was about to start! I need to do something. My eyes went back to my annoying private tutor. He was still leaning on my door, arms crossed while his eyes were closed. I heaved a deep sigh before starting to execute the plan I had on my mind. I slowly went to his direction while still staring at him. I don't understand why my reactions became strange. I can't help but gulp because it's too freaking hot near him. I tried to erase those thoughts in my mind and put my hand on his chest. He was suddenly awakened because of what I did. "I'll do anything if you let me out of this room." I seduced him. His expressions never changed as if what I did doesn't affect him at all. "What can you do for me then?" He stared back. I suddenly felt my knees turn weaker but I will never let him win against me. My hand slowly goes up to cup his face. I was too desperate to go outside so I don't care what I'm doing to him anymore. I slowly close my eyes and kiss him. That kiss lasted for a couple of seconds but I didn't feel him fighting back. The moment I let go of his lips, his face turned reddish. I thought he was mad but I was completely wrong. "Is that the only thing that you can do?" I couldn't believe what he said so I pushed him. "Do you also want me to tutor you regarding the proper way of kissing?" he chuckled. He was getting on my nerves. I was too embarrassed to face him so I went back to my bed and covered myself with my comforter. When I couldn't wait any longer, I took the paper from the table hurriedly and answered his exam as fast as I could. "Happy?" I sarcastically asked. I saw him smirked which pissed me even more. "Good girl." "I'm done taking these exams so get out of my room or you want me to strip in front of you?!" He didn't say anything right after I utter those words. He just silently fixed his things and hurriedly went outside my room as if he also had important appointments to deal with. In less than fifteen minutes, my cousin's tournament will start so I need to be quick. Right after I went downstairs, my private tutor was still there. I almost forgot that I can't go outside alone. I didn't bother to ask if he purposely waited for me or what. I just silently followed him until we successfully got rid of those annoying security guards. "Don't you ever tell my mom about this or else, I'm gonna wring your neck!" I uttered before heading to Pier's black car who's waiting for me. "I was prohibited from entering your mansion so I have nothing else to do but wait. Who's that guy? " he asked when I was already sitting beside him. "Long story, Pier. Just focus on driving because we only have seven minutes." Thank God, there was no traffic at all so we were able to arrive at the Arena on time. My cousins already prepared an exclusive seat for Pier and I so we can enjoy and watch them closely. I can't almost hear Pier saying something because the whole place is filled with screams cheering for their players. From a distance, I suddenly saw a familiar man. Wait, why is my private tutor here? Does mom tell him to look for me? Damn it. Instead of becoming more annoyed, I tried to divert my attention to ZDX Gameplay. The crowd didn't wait any longer because the tournament started early. Pier appeared relaxed while I was quite uneasy. I know Chase and Eros prepared a lot for this and they were really hoping to be part of the finals. ZDX really had a great advantage when it comes to their jungler because Eros is really leading the game. No doubt that he was the team captain because of his skills and erratic playing style. On the other hand, Chase is an outstanding EXP laner. He can hold and sustain his lane and he had a great contribution when it comes to team fights too. Zion and Haden are good supporters aside from Cali who is easily targeted by the enemies. "What the hell is his problem!? He's making the team lose!" I gritted my teeth out of frustration. "They can make it." Pier was so sure of his words but he was completely wrong. After almost ten minutes of playing, the game was easily over. ZDX were already ahead during the early game if it wasn't because of their mid-laner. Damn it! He's getting on my nerves. "Did you see that Pier!? They lost! It was all because of Cali!" "There are lots of tournaments ahead. It's just normal to lose sometimes." It was very evident that the crowd was disappointed with their game play. When we arrived at the backstage room, my two cousins were just smiling while approaching my direction. "What's with that face, Eli? What's making you mad?" Chase was the first one to ask. "You already know it so stop asking!" "Why are you having tantrums again instead of enjoying today's tournament?" It was Eros who was playfully smiling now. "How can I enjoy knowing that your team loses?" I felt something heavy when Pier's arm touched my shoulder. "Losing is important in improving your gameplay, Eli. Don't worry about it that much." "If only mom allowed me to join your team, we'll surely be the champion in all tournaments!" They all laughed because of what I said. "Of course, we will. We all know how you hate losing." Eros pinched my nose so I kicked his leg. "Let us drive you home. You should go home early or else, you know what's going to happen." Pier reminded me so I have no choice even if I badly want to join their party. Since my gadgets were confiscated, Pier secretly bought me a new one so I wouldn't get bored. When I arrived home, I locked my door and played Shadow Arena to somehow lessen my heavy chest. The next day, my private tutor arrived early again. He was carrying lots of papers and reviewers which easily put me in a bad mood. "What team are you rooting for yesterday?" His eyebrows furrowed because of my question so I had to tell him that I accidentally saw him in the arena yesterday watching the tournament. "None," he shortly replied. As usual, he was cold as ice again. "I challenge you to play one game with me. If you win, I'll be very obedient…but if I do, you know what's going to happen." Instead of agreeing with me, he just tapped the chair beside him, asking me to sit there so we could start our session. "Stop being so stubborn. Come here." "And stop being so bossy. I hate seeing those piles of papers!" I angrily replied before covering my body with the comforter. Even though he called me so many times, I'm not responding. I just pretended to be asleep until he finally gave up this time. "Fine, just one game." A smile curved on my lips because this time, I won. I immediately opened my game, ask for his game username and started playing. "You know what's going to happen if I win?" I teased him but he remained un bothered as if he already knew what would be the result. Instead of being totally happy because he finally agreed with me. I became more disappointed. "When did you start playing?" My voice sounded nervous because I was about to lose. Damn it! "Stop asking," he seemed irritated. I can't help but to be amazed with his gameplay. His skills are almost the same as Chase. I can't predict his movement. "You're cheating! How did you do that!?" I've never been amazed with other players aside from my cousin. My tutor seems like he already knew this game for a long time more than I am. I was overconfident that I'll win against him. I hate to admit that I am no match with his skills. "You lose. Now come over here so we can start." I can't believe that in just five minutes, he ended our game. How did he do that? "How long have you been playing?" I approached and sat beside him. He remained serious while reading something on his notes. Desperate enough to get his attention, I madly got his book from him. "Answer me or else, I'll rip this book!" His face went closer to me so I took a gulp of air to calm my senses. "It doesn't matter whether I play the game for too long. I won against you so be obedient." I felt his hand on the top of my head caressing it. "Be a good girl from now on."
