Heston Quest has been living in a light tower in the middle of the ocean, he was locked up there and can’t remember how and when anymore, he grow up naïve and innocent to the point that he didn’t even know the differences between a guy and a girl, Stefan his brother whom always visited him was the only person he had seen in years. By his seventeenth birthday, his always early brother, was late for the first time. Heston was bewildered, he was panicking without doubt, his food supply won’t last any longer it can only contain his consumption for another meal. “Wait…” He trailed off Afraid and panicking he remembered what his brother told him, at the top of the tower there was a trumpet and a light signal to be sent off Running to the top by staircase, he excitedly grab to push open the door when it didn’t budge, the small hope he had was littering away “Again…” He cheered himself up, trying to stop the shaking of his hands and body, his eyes moistened, he tried to pushed as hard as he can but to no avail like the wooden door still can’t be open but the small creak that indicates it moves lighten his mood a bit. With a shout, he ran full force towards the entrance, the door which blocked his way in was forced open, it hit the floor with a bang and heston who’s physical strength has been exhausted, it was not much in the first place, lay on top of the door panting but the obvious happy and relieved expression makes him adorable which is a large contrast to his surroundings. Slowly recovering his strength, Heston got up and shirk the dust that covered his tender little white hands, looking around he comes face to face with a room full of dust through it wasn’t dark, it was obvious that there was no one to clean the room for years seeing how thick the dirt and dust around it. Remembering his purpose on coming up here, he straightened his out of line thoughts and searched for light signal¹, as far as he remembered, his brother told him it was inside a box, it was sealed with the other things in the attic, the box seems to be color blue with a white feather crest in it, rummaging through the things in there, he saw many things, a box of clothes that is not quite similar to his own, the skirt was split into two and it was quite small for a dress², looking at it he had this feeling of comfort for unknown reason, he also saw an old book, the pages has thinned down to the point getting rip with one or two touch, it was yellowish and the writing almost have been unrecognizable anymore with just a few words and paragraph surviving. All the things in there were new to him, the geeling of seeing novel things has keep Heston on a daze for a moment. The amazement and satisfaction of having to realize that calamity really resonates blessing, the panic and anxiety he had felt just a moment ago vanished in thin air, now he can calmly look for the things he needed without having his mind going wild. At the top shelf of one of the cabinet’s, he found the box of light signal and next to it was a binocular, while his search for the trumpet last far a bit longer than it should be since a trumpet that can reach a mile will certainly be big enough to see with naked eyes. He finally find it at the far top shelf of the tallest cabinet, the joy and relief he felt at the moment, tho there were still a bit of uncomfortable feeling knowing that although he had the trumpet and light signal added with the binocular, there was a possibility that no ship might sail around gge the area since he didn’t see any for the oast years he was living here. The old problem is solved, a new problem arose, Heston did not know how to use the light signal, the only thing he knew was, he needed to light it with fire or igniter but he does not have those either. It was at this time that he heard a inaudible sound from outside, it sound like a horn, ' a ship is coming’ he thought, rushed by adrenaline he looked for the nearest window and clumsily forces it to open, looking out he didn’t see anything, the vast sea is calm and the sun sky is bright, there was no one out there. Disappointed he turned his back only to catch a glimpse of a ship that was headed his way, using the binocular, Heston saw that it was not his brother Stefan’s but some unknown ship sailing towards the light tower he was in right now. His joy diminished a bit but the hope his feeling was still there, his eyes shine under the ray of sunlight, highlighting his golden eyes and caramel-colored skin, his raven black long hair scattered and fluttered under the sea breeze blowing towards him, holding the trumpet, he blow his hardest, trying to get the attention from someone on the ship, repeating it until he’s out of breath. “HOONNNKKKK” At last, someone replied, as the ship got nearer it slowed down towards his direction, his anticipation got to him and immediately ran towards the balcony just down the attic, the brightness in his eyes can’t be concealed, just a while later a message through a loud speaker can be heard. “This is Captain Fulton of Sigma, may the people inside the light tower open the portable port and let us in” “I repeat, this is Captain Fulton of Sigma, to the people inside the light tower, may you open the port and let us in!” the last call was more forcefull the the first. To Heston, the request wasn’t anything hard but rather he felt hope hearing it, not knowing the blatant command that isn’t the least bit like a request should be that is being hinted throughout the message. Running again, he was faster than ever and quickly reach the right place, pulling down the heavy metal controller, though much heavier than he is he still pulled it down in order to open the port that slowly came down, he was slowly bath in sunlight, his tan skin glimmers under the direct sunlight, his hair fluttered and his golden eyes shone with obvious anticipation. Unbeknownst to him a certain man inside the ship couldn’t take his eyes off him, like a bewitched person he was daze the moment he catch a glimpse of the adorable and enchanting beauty that was bathe in sunlight making him look like a god descending from the heaven's, his golden colored eyes hypnotized him to oblivion that he forgot everything and only feel warmth of the moment. Distant memories and old feelings, that one night he deeply treasured yet hated at the same time. The vagueness became clearer that the emotions he felt from the past returned and like a buring charcoal it heated the moment and it makes it more wonderful and nostalgic. “He is a young man now, unlike the chatterbox he was years ago, he grow to be such a stunner huh!”
