In the office, Eden Wallis sat in his boss chair, reminiscing about Molly's stunning beauty just moments ago. After so many years in the business world, it was the first time he had seen a woman like Molly – not only fair-skinned and beautiful but also with a well-endowed figure. If he could spend a night with her, Eden Wallis would willingly sacrifice ten years of his life.
Just as Eden Wallis was contemplating where to inquire about Molly's whereabouts, the office door suddenly burst open, startling him. When he saw the intruder's face and realized he didn't recognize him, Eden Wallis became furious. "You're asking for death, kicking my door like this. Get out!"
Isaac sneered, "Get out? You don't have the qualifications."
Before Eden Wallis could respond, Isaac charged forward and grabbed a pen from the desk. Without hesitation, Isaac thrust the pen downwards, pinning Eden Wallis's right hand firmly to the desk.
"Ahh! My hand!"
Eden Wallis let out a piercing scream of agony. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, Isaac grabbed the ashtray from the desk and slammed it into his mouth several times.
Isaac mercilessly knocked out all of Eden Wallis's teeth, leaving his mouth full of blood.
With Eden Wallis too dazed to even beg for mercy, Isaac finally stopped and threw the ashtray aside.
Looking at the broken teeth on the desk, Eden Wallis muttered through his bloody mouth, "You bastard, tell me who you are, and I'll make sure you regret being born!"
"Oh? You want to revenge?" Isaac waved his index finger mockingly. "You're not qualified."
Seeing that Isaac refused to reveal his identity, Eden Wallis assumed Isaac was afraid.
He stared at Isaac intently, determined to remember his appearance. With his power in Valestile City, finding Isaac would be easy, and then he could send him to his death.
Isaac understood Eden Wallis's gaze and disdainfully remarked, "It seems you still haven't grasped the difference between you and me."
With a casual flick of his hand, the sturdy wooden desk instantly shattered into pieces.
Eden Wallis's eyelids twitched uncontrollably. If a slap like that landed on him, he would probably be killed on the spot.
Swallowing hard, Eden Wallis's tone lost its previous arrogance. "Bro, I don't think I've offended you. Is there a misunderstanding between us?"
"No misunderstanding," Isaac said indifferently. "The reason I spared your life is that you still have some use."
"Now, I'll give you two choices."
"First, you go to the Joseph family and personally apologize to Molly, then discuss the business of the A8 plot with her."
"Second, I'll finish you off, and someone else from the Rock Group will negotiate with Molly. It's up to you."
Hearing Isaac's words, Eden Wallis burst into laughter. "Are you joking with me?"
"The Rock Group was built by me from scratch. The shareholders are all my relatives and friends. Do you have the ability to destroy me?"
"It seems you've chosen the second option."
Isaac didn't bother with Eden Wallis's retorts. He took out his phone and said to the person on the other end, "You have five minutes to replace me with someone obedient as the chairman of the Rock Group."
The person on the other end of the line was Jacob, the richest man in Loussia, the lord of the Underworld Treasury, and the one who controlled the global economic lifeline.
Even the president of the main branch of one of the Loussia's four major banks didn't have the qualifications to meet Jacob.
For Jacob, the task Isaac assigned was a piece of cake.
Seeing Isaac making a serious phone call, Eden Wallis couldn't help but laugh. He wanted to see how this clown, Isaac, would manage to change the ownership of Rock Group.
Just as Isaac finished his call, hurried footsteps could be heard outside the office. Eden Wallis thought his reinforcements had arrived and burst into laughter.
"You're finished, punk! Daring to act recklessly on my turf, this time I'll make you regret it!" Eden Wallis exclaimed.
As soon as Eden finished speaking, his brother Derrick Wallis rushed into the office with a group of company security guards.
Eden Wallis pointed at Isaac and said hastily, "Derrick, this guy assaulted me! Teach him a lesson!"
However, Derrick didn't lay a hand on Isaac. Instead, he respectfully asked, "Excuse me, are you Mr. Isaac Arnold?"
"Yes, I am," replied Isaac calmly.
Derrick, with a servile demeanor, continued, "Jacob just called me and informed me. I'm Derrick, the newly appointed Chairman of Rock Group. Whatever Mr. Arnold needs, just let me know."
Meanwhile, Eden Wallis, with blood in his mouth, stared dumbfoundedly. He angrily interjected, "Derrick, what nonsense are you spouting? Since when do you have the authority to run Rock Group?"
Snap!
Derrick walked up to Eden Wallis and slapped him hard across the face. "Because of you, Rock Group almost fell in Valestile City. And you dare shout at me here?"
Derrick then produced a document and showed it to Eden Wallis. "This is a board appointment document signed by the shareholders of the group. Eden Wallis, I am now the new Chairman of Rock Group. Take a good look."
Stunned by the freshly inked signatures on the board appointment document, Eden Wallis was utterly shaken. The fact that Rock Group changed hands with just a phone call was terrifyingly efficient. Who was this man?
Eden Wallis had been able to act recklessly in Valestile City because he owned Rock Group. Now that Rock Group had changed hands, he, Eden Wallis, was nothing. Realizing this, Eden Wallis immediately knelt before Isaac, tearfully begging for forgiveness. "I'm sorry, Mr. Arnold. I admit my words were too harsh. I was blind. Please spare me this time."
Isaac remained indifferent to Eden Wallis's pleas. To him, crushing Eden Wallis was as trivial as crushing an ant. However, since Eden Wallis had offended Molly, it was only appropriate for him to apologize to her in person.
With a kick, Isaac knocked Eden Wallis down and said indifferently, "Apologize to Molly immediately, and hand over the A8 site to her. If Molly is in the slightest bit dissatisfied, you'll have no reason to live."
Hearing Isaac's words, Eden Wallis shivered, feeling a chill run down his spine. He believed Isaac had the power to make him disappear. For the sake of survival, he had to follow Isaac's orders obediently.
After settling matters with Eden Wallis, Isaac left on his bike. Upon returning home, he found Molly sitting on the living room sofa, crying, with Gemma trying to comfort her.
"I told you Isaac was useless. What could you expect from him?" Gemma said.
"Mum, please don't say that. He didn't know this would happen..."
"Are you still defending him? If you were with Mr. Harrison, that guy wouldn't dare to bully you. In the end, it's all because of that useless Isaac," Gemma retorted.
As Gemma finished her sentence, she looked up and saw Isaac standing at the door.
