CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN No sooner had this been done when I turned on my heel and flew into the shed. Cutler was crawling over to Andi, pulling himself along the ground, his feet dragging behind. I wasn’t sure if he was trying to provide some sort of comfort to her, or was a threat. He held Melanie’s discarded gun in his shaking hand, pointing it at me. “Get away, you bastard. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for you,” he screamed. “Seriously, Cutler?” He looked like he had broken legs and major bruising. He cringed as I reached down towards him and extracted the gun from his trembling hand. Throwing it to the rear of the shed, I dragged him by the back of his shirt collar and threw his floppy body. He hit the ground in a screaming heap, just inside the broken sliding door.
