CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Asher. I was in a valley filled with flowers when my dream began. I knew it was a dream because of how it felt, not because of anything that didn't make sense. The light was different too perfect. It came from a sky that was both night and day at the same time. The valley was huge and very still. There were flowers in every color I had never seen before. The moon was huge and full. It seemed close to me. I stood in the middle of the valley. Looked around slowly. I took in every detail. Then I saw a wolf. She was away sitting still in the long grass. She was silver over. I knew her. I had seen that kind of stillness I walked across the valley toward her. She watched me come without moving. When I was close I knelt down. Put my hand out. She sniffed my hand. Pressed her nose against it.
