Antonio. The pack house was really quiet without Silvia. I did not expect that to happen. Silvia was never a person. She did not make a lot of noise or take up a lot of space.. She was always there in a way that mattered. I would hear her walking down the hall early in the morning. I would see the light on in her room at night. The pack house felt different when Silvia was home versus when she was not. The air in the pack house felt different now. It felt lighter, but not in a way. It felt like something was missing. I sat in my chair by the window with my tea getting cold beside me. I was doing what I had been doing since Silvia left. Thinking about all the things that could go wrong. I knew it was not an use of my time. It was not helping anything.. I could not seem to stop. Elder E
