I woke up to three missed calls on my phone.
Not from the mayors office it was too early for that.
Two of the calls were from Toby.
The third call was from a number I did not know with a city area code.
I lay in bed in the morning and looked at my phone screen.
I felt still like I was watching something happen that I knew was coming.
Asher was still asleep.
He had been awake until three in the morning full of energy from doing something big.
His body had not realized it was time to sleep yet.
