*KOREA* surveyed the environment. I was just involved in a plane crash. I removed my seatbelt and got up from my seat my vision blurred and my head ached so much. it seemed that there were some people missing in there seats but over all a lot of people died I rushed out in case there was a leak that would lead to an explosion. There was a stream far ahead and I rushed to it. There seemed to be a bump by the left of my forehead, my entire back ached and dried blood was on my nostrils if not anywhere else and I felt like s**t. I stooped to the stream when I got to it and in my aim to drink water my vision shook and I fell into the rushing water instead which didn't waste anytime in carrying me away. I weakly tried to struggle but my vision quickly faded and I lost consciousness. When I opened my eyes I was in an inn. it seemed like a very modest one which meant that whoever brought me here had a modest salary or business or they just dropped me here with no hope of me surviving. the entire place had white walls with a small bed in the center of the room which I was seated upon. I reached around me for my money bag and found out that it wasn't on me. 's**t!' I cursed the way my ex-master usually did whenever he was frustrated. Now how was I supposed to pay for a place to stay before looking for a job. the door opened and the king of the silver lining kingdom " stepped into the room with a man dressed in a plain white shirt and black trousers. My eyes widened in shock," Your majesty" I quickly rise from the bed. " sit down and let the doctor check in you" he ordered and although I was still stunned I complied. the doctor carrying a first aid box checked my pulse, changed my the bandages I didn't realise I was wearing until he did and left the room leaving the two of us together while I had already come up with a way to convince him to let me do what I want I didn't really think he would let me. " Your majesty, I can explain," I started while he chuckled. " You've got a lot of nerve to leave the palace like that without my consent" he remarked. " I know I was wrong to leave like that " I raised my head and looked him in the eye something I was getting used to doing thanks to Emperor Ash. " I know I had no right to leave like that and I'm sorry, despite my reasons it was wrong," I admitted while he listened quietly. " But I do not want to become a noble or a great person the way you and the Emperor envisioned for me, I want to make stable connections with the world around me not only based on the royal, I want to discover myself and the only way I can do so is getting lost, falling down and getting up on my own" I said " All this and to what beginning?, the outside world will break you, will throw you down and refuse to let you up, you will lose multiple times while winning rarely, you will be faced with the choice of giving up and you will refuse only to be met with cold shoulders, so I'll give you the easy way out come back with me to the palace" he ordered and I shook my head visibly trembling I had never defied orders before it felt so terrible doing it for the first time. " I agree that it will break me even if I haven't seen much of the world, but I have been broken in different angles and methods, learning new ways of being tossed to pieces and still standing up again will not be a challenge to me, I reject your order your majesty, so no," I flinched " I will not return with you to the royal palace " ' oh my God' He looked like he had received the most shocking words of his entire existence but after a while he chuckled. " truly excellent, ash told me that you were very resilient but he didn't mention fierce" he smiled and it was my turn to be shocked. " let's all say I'm convinced you won't have a chance to go back on your words, Julianna " he warned. " I won't" I promised and he laughed. " Let's see what all this will amount to then, I look forward to it, I do hope you give me a pleasant surprise" he rose from his seat and walked away. I sighed deeply my tension melting away with breeze which occasionally came from the windows in the room. A guard came in with a scroll in hand I recognised him to be the king's personal guard and the one who had escorted me to the meeting room on my first night in the silver lining kingdom. " Don't make the king regret this" he warned as he tossed a scroll to me which I caught skillfully while he turned and left. I was on my own once again. I opened the scroll and read through it it contained information of a house rented for me for a year after that I would be paying for it and a credit card which held a significant amount of money that would last me for a year. " thank you, your majesty " I appreciated genuinely and rose from the bed. I walked out of the room and saw the doctor talking to a youth with red hair, black eyes and quite tall his lips were almost bordering on red it looked like make up and his hair looked like they would never be suppressed by dyes or gels giving him a handsome comical look almost like the king and ash but it looked way more stubborn and rare. On noticing me the doctor sighed and walked away while he checked me out. "foreigner?" he asked in what I figured out was a korean accent. " Yes " I replied and walked away " I'm max, I do tour guides for foreigners for a fee, I could give you a tour if you want " he said without the accent this time. " do you know the 7 boulevard street ?" I asked " oh, what a coincidence, that's one of the duplexes my father placed on rent" max replied in mild surprise "the doctor?" I asked " Yes " max replied. " that means you know the place well" I stated. " like the back of my hand, I wanted to be the one to administer your vitamins earlier but as he had done it I stormed over to confront him and then you came in" he chuckled awkwardly. " You want to be a doctor?" I asked " No, I'm just helping anyway I can, can't let my father get too stressed out" max said My heart melted in warmth, it seemed that parents were really my soft spot. "I'll depend on you to lead me to the place" I said " it's not that far and I reckon a walk is going to give you a glimpse of the entire city" max smiled. " do you know what jobs pay a lot around here?" I asked curiously. " of course a lot of jobs it's either you do different things in one day or own a business than to be stuck in an underpaying job or one that can't meet your needs" mac declared " So can I stick with you for jobs?, a silver coin for every job that pays well" I offered. " How about thirty percent from all your income paid" max bargained " deal" I agreed. we spent half the day touring the entire community before we retired to the house where we both had a late lunch and max left.
