I let out a harsh breath, a wide smile of relief curled on my lips as I followed Kade to his car. Kade drove through mountains and open valleys, and then, into what seemed like a forest. I gulped in fear wondering if the mind manipulation had not worked and Kade was just playing a trick on me. Or worse, it worked but it was botched, and now Kade had gone mentally unstable. But then, after crossing through the forest, Kade stopped at a wide gate. I could not spot anything else further than just the gate that seemed to occupy the entire place. The gate opened as if sensing us, as Kade drove into the wide compound, large enough to be an entire pack. My mind was too crowded with thoughts of Draven and the never-ending pain I was feeling the more we got closer to the large building I spott
