I let out a harsh breath, a wide smile of relief curled on my lips as I followed Kade to his car.
Kade drove through mountains and open valleys, and then, into what seemed like a forest.
I gulped in fear wondering if the mind manipulation had not worked and Kade was just playing a trick on me. Or worse, it worked but it was botched, and now Kade had gone mentally unstable.
But then, after crossing through the forest, Kade stopped at a wide gate. I could not spot anything else further than just the gate that seemed to occupy the entire place.
