I fantasize about blowing off yoga and bringing Melanie back to my place, but I work with her, and it would complicate things. Besides, she might be way out of my league. “So, I’d love to come to yoga with you sometime,” she’s saying. “I really need to do more of it.” I smile. “Unless it’s the kind of thing you like to do alone,” she adds. “Oh, no,” I say. “I’d love to come to a game sometime, too.” She grins. “Okay, sounds great!” Melanie glances at her phone. “Speaking of which, we should hit the road,” she says. We take the train part of the way together, and Melanie and I talk about college majors, passions, and politics.
