I followed close behind as we climbed the flight of stairs, trying very hard not to overthink the fact that Tyler and I were finally going to have some alone time.
It honestly felt like I’d been waiting for this exact moment my entire life—which, in hindsight, I basically had. Sort of.
And now it was here.
When we got to the top of the stairs, the hallway stretched long with a few doors left half-open, laughter and loud conversations spilling from some of the rooms.
And then there were the couples.
A girl was pressed against the wall near the staircase kissing some guy like the rest of the world had ceased to exist.
